Cancellation Policy — Spark Stays

Firm cancellation applies to all direct bookings.

48-hour grace period

You may cancel your reservation for a refund minus Stripe processing fees within 48 hours of booking, provided the cancellation is at least 48 hours before your check-in time.

After 48 hours

Cancellations made after the 48-hour grace period are non-refundable. We do not issue partial refunds for cancellations after this window.

Same-day bookings

Reservations made within 48 hours of the scheduled check-in date are non-refundable from the time of booking.

Refunds

Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. For guest-initiated cancellations, Stripe processing fees are deducted from eligible refunds. If we cancel your reservation, you receive a full refund as described below.

Host cancellations

In the rare event we must cancel your reservation (e.g., emergency maintenance), you will receive a full refund and we will help relocate you to a comparable property when possible.

Travel insurance

We strongly encourage purchasing travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances.
